Characteristics of e-education compared with traditional education

To be "open" (->"public") is a characteristic of the e-education
(while the traditional education is characterized as "closed" (->"homely").
Exposition to the others (general public) is presumed.
Ready to take criticism from the others.
Ready to be persuasive to the others.
All or nothing (no excuse, no moratorium) about the contents.
State of students in their learning is invisible.
Instructor simply trusts students, and waits for their results.
Remark
It cannot be said that students learn objects "virtually" in the case of e-education. That is, "learning over computer display" is not necessarily "learning virtually".
"Virtual" loses its meaning according to learning subjects. Typically, mathematics.
