教員養成系大学・学部の競争力は，結局，それの商品力である「教員養成の水準の高さ」に帰着する。教員養成課程教科教育コースの水準を高めるという課題の実際化（この課題への実際的アプローチ）として，「情報デザイン能力の育成」を提案する。これは，(1) 専門性の重視, (2) 「本質/価値 - 連関」を中心に据えた授業内容構成, (3) 課題解決(仕事達成)型学習活動, (4) 科目の自己完結性, (5) ＩＴ活用による仕事の効率化・高品質化，を方法の要素とする。また，これの組織的実現のための具体的課題となるものに，(1) ＦＤ，(2) 学生ポータル，がある。

The competency of a teacher training college results in "quality of teacher training", which is the product/brand value. Here the idea of "raising information design ability" is proposed as a practical/operational way of approach to the subject of "raising quality of disciplinary course at teacher training college". The method consisits of : (1) speciality-oriented, (2) "essence/meaning - relation to others"-focused design of contents, (3) problem-solving (task-achievement) -type leaning activity, (4) course being self-contained, (5) reaching both efficiency and quality by means of IT. And, the college infrastructural requirements for the method to run particularly includes : (1) FD, (2) student portal website.
