Convex and Concave
In general, a figure F is said to be convex if the following condisiton is satisfied
:
"For any two points A, B in F, the line segment AB is contained in F."
And figures that are not convex are said to be concave.
In the case of a polygon F, the condition of "convex" becomes easier as follows :
"Any diagonal of F, except its vertices, is contained in the interior of F ."
