Using JAZ Drive

In order to use JAZ Drive with your PowerBook, it is necessary that the following softwares are installed in the hard disk.
- Iomega Driver (in System : Extention folder)
- SCSIProbe ( in System : ControlPanel folder)
Proper way of using JAZ drive
1. Check that both PB and JAZ drive are powered off.
2. Connect JAZ drive to PB with a proper SCSI cable.
3. Power-on JAZ drive.
4. Run PB.
5. (Working)
6. Shutdown PB.
7. Power-off JAZ drive.
Improper way of using JAZ drive
In the case where PB is running and we want connect JAZ drive to PB,
1. Check that JAZ drive are powered off.
2. Connect JAZ drive to PB with a proper SCSI cable.
3. Power-on JAZ drive.
4. Insert a JAZ cartridge into the JAZ drive.
5. Run SCSIProbe.
  Then the following window appears:
6. Click "Cancel".
  Then the following window appears:
7. Click "Mount", and click "Mount" once again.
  Then JAZ is mounted.

Don't disconnect JAZ drive from PB while it is powered on !
